A Monkey’s Uncle is developing a nonprofit initiative inspired by Eris, a rescued monkey whose second chance will help others find theirs.
A Monkey’s Uncle operates as a program of Arbecy Foundation. Funds raised through this program support charitable services that help veterans and their pets remain together during times of hardship, including veterinary assistance, temporary support services, transportation assistance, and related community programs.

Meet our inspiration
Eris was rescued. Now her story can rescue others.
Eris is a rescued monkey receiving the love, care, and second chance she deserves. But her story is about much more than her own rescue.
Founder Micky Lencke envisioned a place where veterans can seek help without facing an impossible choice: leaving behind the animal who gives them comfort, emotional support, and unconditional loyalty.
One mission: support housing, veterinary care, and resources that keep families together.
